How We Can Support You
-
Parent Coaching & Support provides families with individualized guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help them better understand their child’s behavior and respond to challenges with practical, evidence-based strategies. The BCBA works collaboratively with parents and caregivers to identify concerns, explore factors that may be influencing behavior, establish meaningful goals, and teach strategies that can be incorporated naturally into everyday routines. Coaching may include modeling and practicing techniques for communication, reinforcement, setting expectations, responding to challenging behavior, teaching functional skills, and creating consistency across environments. Rather than simply providing parents with a set of instructions, the BCBA supports caregivers through ongoing education, practice, feedback, and problem-solving so they can confidently use strategies that are appropriate for their child and family. As progress is observed, strategies can be adjusted to reflect the child’s changing needs while continuing to build the caregiver’s skills and confidence.

School & Support Staff, we provide collaborative behavioral support to educators, school staff, and educational teams seeking to better understand and address a student’s behavioral needs within the learning environment. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) may work with school personnel to identify patterns of behavior, evaluate environmental factors, review behavioral data, observe the student when appropriate, and develop practical, evidence-based strategies that can be incorporated into classroom routines. Consultation may include recommendations for preventing challenging behaviors, strengthening communication and functional skills, increasing student engagement, reinforcing positive behaviors, and supporting the effective implementation of behavior intervention plans. The BCBA can also provide coaching and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff to promote consistency across the student’s educational team. Through ongoing collaboration, data review, and problem-solving, school consultation aims to create supportive learning environments and provide educators with strategies that are practical, individualized, and responsive to the student’s changing needs.

We provide families with knowledgeable behavioral support as they navigate the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process and work to understand how their child’s behavioral needs are being addressed within the school environment. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) can help parents review behavioral goals, accommodations, supports, behavior intervention plans, and relevant assessment or progress data so they can better understand how these components relate to their child’s needs. The BCBA may assist families in preparing questions and concerns for IEP meetings, identifying behavioral information that may be helpful to discuss with the educational team, and explaining behavioral terminology or recommendations in clear, understandable language. When appropriate and within the scope of the service, the BCBA may also collaborate with school personnel, review behavioral data, observe the student, or participate in meetings to provide behavior-analytic insight and recommendations. The goal is to help parents become informed and active participants in the IEP process while promoting collaboration between the family and educational team and supporting strategies that can be consistently implemented across school and home environments.

Behavioral Consultation is a collaborative service in which a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) works with individuals, families, caregivers, educators, or support teams to better understand behavioral concerns and develop practical strategies for addressing them. The consultation process may include discussing current challenges, reviewing relevant history and environmental factors, identifying patterns or circumstances that may influence behavior, and establishing meaningful, person-centered goals. Using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), the BCBA can provide evidence-based recommendations for reducing barriers, teaching functional skills, strengthening positive behaviors, and creating supportive environments that encourage success. Consultation may also involve observation, ongoing collaboration, data review, and adjustments to recommendations based on the individual's progress and changing needs, with an emphasis on strategies that can be realistically incorporated into everyday routines at home, school, work, or within the community.

Behavioral assessments & evaluations are systematic methods for observing, measuring, and analyzing an individual's actions, and interactions to identify strengths, needs, and triggers; they combine direct observation, structured interviews, rating scales, and analysis to determine the purpose of behaviors and inform targeted interventions; results guide individualized treatment plans, that are ethically grounded, and designed to improve adaptive skills and reduce harmful or interfering behaviors.

Behavior Intervention & Support use evidence-based ABA strategies to address behavioral challenges while teaching meaningful, functional skills that support success in everyday life. A BCBA develops individualized interventions based on the person’s unique needs, environment, strengths, and identified goals. Progress is monitored over time so strategies can be adjusted as needed and effectively incorporated across home, school, and community settings.
